Job Description

  • Tester would be responsible for overall software test execution of various applications.
  • Role includes writing and maintaining Test cases/Test Log.
  • Role includes executing test cases and also Defect / bug tracking through the various phases of the test process.
  • The Role also includes ability to install and configure various Project application/supporting databases required during Test Bed preparation
Skills desired
  • Test to break' attitude, an ability to take the point of view of the customer, a strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with both technical (developers) and non-technical (customers, management) people is useful
  • Knowdege of Manual/Automated testing methodologies is required.
  • Knowledge of Automated testing tools from leading vendors like
  • Mercury/Rational/Compuware is desirable.
  • People with Certification like CSTE, ISTQB-Certified-Tester would be given weightage.
  • Previous software development experience/Industry standards like CMMI, ISO:9001 can be helpful
Experience: 1 - 5 years
Education: B.Tech/B.E., Post Graduation - Not Required
