MyLearning (eLearning Portal) Administrator – Capgemini Consulting Limited (Worldwide)

Profile Summary
The MyLearning (an eLearning portal for Capgemini worldwide) Administrator – Capgemini University will be expected to take responsibility for the following key areas:

Global Learning & Development Support
  • Curriculum / Certification Support - Build learning maps related to internal or external certification programs or priority curriculum areas, design certification / curriculum solution in MyLearning through collaboration with the associated community.
  • MyLearning Community Support – Support MyLearning community / user group through participation on weekly calls, documenting and distributing minutes, and managing related content on global Learning & Development t-room
Skillsoft / Other Content Vendors
  • Content Management - Refresh content (from SkillSoft or other content provider) on a monthly basis which includes creating new courses and removing outdated content and other content related updates; also means update existing learning maps with new content.
  • Skillsoft Marketing Materials - Create communication packs for countries launching Skillsoft, marketing materials for countries already using SkillSoft to help them generate interest in their regions and communication packs to announce new SkillSoft related initiatives.
  • Skillsoft reporting – monthly reporting on overall Skillsoft and Books 24x7 usage both in Mylearning and Skillport, maintain register of any internal transfers of licenses between entities. Report on the most highly used courses and Books.
  • Books 24 x 7 – support the countries and global in setting and using corporate bookshelves and integration into blended learning
Content Development
  • Supporting teams working with Maximize Learning - Support teams working with Maximize Learning by providing them with existing e learning templates, best practices, MyLearning related advice, setting them up with appropriate access rights to MyLearning, and testing the new content.
  • Global System Administration - Maintain and document system related settings, notifications, content standards and procedures. Maintain help desk documentation and communicate new issues and resolution steps as identified.
  • University System Administration - Design and optimize processes for registrations on University programs; supporting L&D teams, University team on the process and answering queries; documenting processes for University registrations.
  • Monthly Reporting - Report on MyLearning usage for University programs, Skillsoft content and Capgemini content for all regions.
  • MyLearning Documentation and Training Materials - Create and maintain documents to support the administration of MyLearning.
  • Create and maintain training materials for regions to leverage in the deployment of MyLearning in their area.
  • MyLearning Roll Out - Support countries implement MyLearning in their region
  • MyLearning Upgrade / Customizations – Assist in the upgrade or customization project by testing solution, documenting changes to policies or procedures, help desk collateral, and training materials
  • MyLearning Issue Management with SumTotal - Log issues, work with the SumTotal tech team to resolve issues, test resolution, and track progress via monthly calls.
  • Content Issue Management – Log issues identified by any of our content vendors (SkillSoft, Global English, custom developed modules). Work with vendor tech team and impacted individual to resolve issue and test solution.
    MyLearning Mailbox - Answer queries sent to the MyLearning mailbox.
University Communications
  • Website, Newsletters, MyLearning News Page, Factsheets, Brochures, Learning Infocenter, Learning Maps, BPW Web pages
  • Work on content and program description when required with the Program Manager/communications team.
Enrolment Coordinators
  • MyLearning Training - Onboard new enrolment coordinators, train them on MyLearning and University registration processes and best practices.
  • Guidance and Coaching - Provide enrolment coordinators continuous support and coaching.

These tasks require a resource with content familiarity in at least one of the supported areas:

  • Familiarity and experience in IT Services and E-Learning
  • Exposure to stakeholder management and team management
  • Understanding of key software tools and technologies


  • Technical background preferable
  • The person must be comfortable using our technical tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.
  • Fluent English Communication Skills (Oral, Written & Presentation)
  • Ability to quickly digest and compare/contrast large amounts of written material
  • Strong self-management skills
  • Project management skills – workplan development, issue management, change management, status reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously balancing project work with high-priority requests
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate new technology and business functions
  • Understanding of consulting processes and methods


  • B.E. (Comp. Sc) / B.C.S. / B.C.A preferable
  • MBA or Master’s degree.


  • 1-3 years experience in E-Learning Industry
  • 1+ years in preferred in Training / OD teams in the HR function
