Job Description
- In this position, you will be a System Validation Engineer in CPU System Validation group within Platform Validation and Enabling (PVE) organization in Bangalore.
- Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Designing, developing, interfacing with other groups within Intel
- Be a member of Debug Tools development team and working with other groups such as processor design and architecture teams, SV test development and execution team, and BIOS teams to help successful launch of new products for DEG
- Ensuring the successful build and launch of new processors on Intel architecture within DEG
Desired Profile
- You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with working experience in large software projects and customer interaction.
- Additional qualifications include:
- Good understanding of software development processes, configuration, validation and release process
- Familiarity with Intel architecture, low level programming and protocol checkers and good hardware and/or software interfacing skills
- Fluency and experience with the Assembly, C and C++ programming languages
- Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with the custom SV environment as well as familiarity with the low level interfaces
- Understanding of standard tools such as ITP, logic analyzers and Windows debuggers to root cause tools and Si issues
- Familiarity with PCI devices, bus protocol, Windows driver model, hardware and/or software configurations and low level programming
- Register Transfer Level (RTL) development and validation would be an added advantage
