Job Description: Oracle PeopleSoft Installation Test Services Team
- Application Operations - Quality & Release Engineering department is responsible for ensuring high quality and performance for all of Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Install and Upgrade path releases.
- Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Install and Upgrade Test Engineer.
- Responsibilities includes running full Install and Upgrade passes for new releases of both PeopleTools and Enterprise Applications (HCM, FSCM, CRM, EPM etc.).
- 1+ years of work experience in PeopleTools and/or PeopleSoft Applications;
- Install and Upgrade exposure highly preferred/desirable
- Proficiency in Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Strong RDBMS skills on at least 1 of the following: Oracle, DB2-UNIX/NT, DB2-z/OS, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase or Informix
- A good working knowledge on at least 1 additional RDBMS platform in the above list
- Solid SQL skills
- Very strong communication skills: able to work with India- and US-based teams
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and provide alternative solutions to problems
- Multi-task: be able to handle multiple test passes, communicate and ramp-up on new technologies
- Work with sense of urgency: quick turnaround times and short project ramp-ups
- Detail- and process-oriented: able to follow, verify and clarify test processes
- Strong documentation skills: able to follow, verify, and clarify Install and Upgrade documentation
- Strong debugging skills
