Urgent requirements for Quality Analysts (QA) at Merrill Lynch, Mumbai

Role: Quality Analyst (QA) / Senior Quality Analyst (Sr. QA)

Job Type: Permanent

Experience: 2 to 7 yrs

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA

Job Location: MUMBAI

Skill Requirements:

· Excellent analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience working with the Mercury Quality Center Test Repository Toolset for Test Management and Defect Tracking.

· Test Automation skills is a plus – Mercury WinRunner/QTP.

· Experience with Relational Database technology (e.g., Sybase, Oracle, SQLServer) and SQL queries.

· Competent knowledge of software development lifecycles and how they pertain to product validation and Quality Assurance.

· Experience with al phases and stages of software testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Scalability, Performance, Stress and Load).

· In-depth knowledge of Test Planning and Test Case Development.

· Have worked with technologies including: HTML, ASP, Microsoft .NET and SQL Servers.

· Familiarity with the tools in the Microsoft Office suite.

· Comfortable working in UNIX and Windows environments.

· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

· Proven ability to multitask and excellent teamwork.

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.

Experience:

· Minimum of 2+ years of relevant QA Experience in client/server/web environments

· 4-years of college in computer science, engineering, or information systems, or equivalent experience

· Working knowledge of software testing disciplines and methodology (e.g., negative, white/black box, test phases, etc.)
